Start the new year and join us for a concert by the Grassholes, featuring New Gloucester’s Field Rider and other talented musicians. The Grassholes, a 5 piece band consisting of bass, rhythm guitar, lead guitar, fiddle and banjo has a sound that has been described variously as ‘slam’ bluegrass, and ‘edgy’ traditional.. The band performs regularly around Portland and has played in various concert venues and festivals around New England for over 15 years. The band’s music is half originals and half covers/traditional. Audiences witness that the individual Grassholes enjoy performing.
