Eyrie Tales

So what’s happening with our Eagles?

Mom and dad eagle are spending a great deal of time together and have even been doing some housekeeping in the nest. I chuckle because they have been side by side (I call it canoodling) in the tall pines near the nest.

So are there eggs? Good question. I have not seen any real “nesting. The fact that both Eagles are out and about makes me doubt it. In recent years, the eggs have hatched by early April, so we still have time for breeding.

I’ve included a couple of photos: one near the nest and one with both of them at the nest the other day.

Enjoy!
