Willow Ann Schwarz died at Maine Medical Center, on July 19, 2017, from complications of flu and pneumonia.
Willow was born in Portland, on Jan. 19, 1956, to John M. Schwarz and Jean E. (Ackerman) Schwarz. She was raised in South Freeport and later moved to New Gloucester, Pownal, and then Woolwich. Keep reading

Robert Stewart passed away, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s, on May 20, 2017. He was born in Portland.
Robert was a graduate of Portland High School, Portland Junior College, and Gorham State Teachers College, where he was third in his class. He also attended Montclair State College on a National Science Foundation grant.

New Gloucester – Joyce I. Hodgman 81, of 1108 Lewiston Rd. New Gloucester died Wednesday May 17th 2017 at C. M. M. C. with her family by her side. A lifelong resident and icon of New Gloucester she was born March 19, 1936 a daughter of the late Foye and Ada Morrison Wescott. She graduated from Mechanic Falls High School . Her family own and operate Hodgman’s Frozen Custard in New Gloucester and was an active member of the New Gloucester Congregational Church, Fireside Club, Amvets, Senior Citizens of Cumberland County and was a volunteer at the Androscoggin Hospice House. Michael David Stevenson, 52, passed away unexpectedly April 1, 2017.
Born in Portland, on Dec. 6, 1964, he was the son of the late Vernon Arthur Stevenson Sr., and Claudia A. Morin and her partner Walter Starkey.

BURLINGTON, Mass. — Eric Charles Ray, also known as E. Ray to his friends, was a lifelong resident of New Gloucester. Eric passed away Tuesday, Feb. 14.
