WINDHAM – Holly Ann (Trefethen) Mason, 63, passed away on June 8, 2018, just three months after a heartbreaking diagnosis of stage four metastatic cancer. Holly passed in the comfort of her daughter’s home, while peacefully holding on to her children’s hands, with several family and friends outside chatting on the patio in the evening sun. Danielle Bishop, 29

Danielle Bishop, 29, passed away on April 27, 2018, due to complications of open-heart surgery.
Danielle received the gift of life when she had a heart transplant at the age of 14.
She was a very courageous and brave young woman to go through everything she had to endure in her life. She will be deeply missed by everyone who loved her and supported her through her short time on this earth.
A memorial visitation will be held 5-8 p.m., Friday, May 4, at Wilson Funeral Home, 24 Shaker Road, Gray.

Royce Foreman, 18

Royce Foreman of Gray, beloved son of Royce A. Foreman and Renee M. Conlogue Foreman, was born exactly at midnight on the evening/morning between August 1st and 2nd in 1999. He passed away on Tuesday, April 3, 2018, at Christiana Hospital in Newark, Del. with his parents, brother Reid, aunts, uncle and cousin by his side. Lorraine Blake, 68

AUBURN – Lorraine Beverly (Berry) Blake, longtime former resident of New Gloucester, passed away peacefully with family at her bedside, March 14, 2018, after a courageous, heart-wrenching battle with dementia.
Lorraine was born July 9, 1949, in Lewiston, daughter of Hugh W. Berry and Beverly M. Pike. She grew up with her sister Sandra at the home their father built on Weymouth Road in the Village of Dry Mills in Gray.
Lorraine attended Dry Mills School, Pennell School, and was a 1967 graduate of Gray-New Gloucester High School, where she was Salutatorian. Keep reading

Frank Wayne Birch, 79

NEW GLOUCESTER – Frank Wayne Birch liked to be called Wayne. He died peacefully at home in New Gloucester, on Feb. 1, 2018.

He is survived by his wife, Beth; children, Larry, Sharon, Vikki and stepdaughter Katie; five grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and, of course, their dog, Belle.

Daryl David Gushee, 54, of New Gloucester, passed away suddenly on Friday, Dec. 29, 2017, at his shop on Route 100 in New Gloucester.
