Absentee or in-person voting

The state and local election will take place on July 14. It’s not too late to vote absentee! Ballots may be requested from the town office, or the state website. For detailed information about voting and ballots, see the town web site.

If you decide to vote absentee, make sure to request your ballots in plenty of time for them to be mailed to you, and for you to return them (to be received by the end of the day on July 14.) Note that the postage is hefty: $2.25 each way for both the state and local ballots. Please pay the return postage yourself to make sure your ballots aren’t delayed and the town doesn’t have to pay the return postage. You can also pick up and return to the town office. There’s a mail slot in the front door.

Postage for mailing ballots is $2.25
